Rail: Another way to reach rudraprayag is by train. The Nearest rail head for
Rudraprayag is Rishikesh at a distance of 140 kms. There are lot of convenience
to reach from Rishikesh to Rudraprayag.
3. By
Road: Rudraprayag is well connected by road. From Rishikesh- Rudraprayag. (140 Kms), Haridwar- Rudraprayag.

One holy and religious temple in Rudraprayag
district devoted to God Shiva is the Koteshwar (Mahadev Ji) temple making its
place in the heart of Rudraprayag.This is one of the Rudraprayag Tourist Places. The holy temple is near by river Alakananda
which increase the beauty of this Lord Shiva temple. According to ancient story
,This temple is prominent for the fact that Lord Shiva(Mahadev Ji) contemplate
in this cave for Lord Vishnu on his way(to reach) to Kedarnath Dham. During the
holy occasion of Mahashivratri the Lord
Shiva for this beautiful creation on which is celebrated with great magnificence
as you spend your holiday here. The People or devotee from different places
came here for pray of Lord Shiva.

II- HARIYALI DEVI TEMPLE
One of the divine and religious temple in Rudraprayag is HARIYALI DEVI. This holy temple of Devi Revered by Hindus in their culture, this temple is devoted to Maa Hariyali Devi, who is addressed and loved also as Vaishno Devi(Another name of Maa Haiyali Devi).This Temple is situated above the Town Ratura and at an elevation of approximately 1370 m from see level. This temple is home to three selfless idols which are namely Maa Hariyali Devi, Heet Devi, and Kshatrapal. Devotees from all places came here to visit ,Shower flowers and pray for well-being as you come across the beautifully formed idol of Maa Hariyali Devi seated on her lion. If you plan to visit this temple you should renounce all kind of non-veg dishes.

III- AUGUSTMUNI
Augustmuni is one of the beautiful a small town
situated in banks of river Mandakini in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand in
India. During the india travel, When you are going for holy Kedarnath
Yatra (one of the char dham ) in
uttrakhand , Augustmuni is Gateway for this and other tourist place in
rudraprayag district. According the ancient story , The famous and religious
temple of Rishi Augustya is situated here and the village gets its name
(Augustyamuni) from it.

of the oldest ancient holy Temple in Uttrakhand is Kartikswami. The Temple is

.The Temple is approximately 37 Km from Rudraprayag district and then 2KM by on
foot from Kanakchauri.
