Chakrata is a small beautiful hill town near Dehradun in Uttarakhand, this place is known for its pine forest, caves and various ancient temples. During the rainy season, the routes of this place  tend to become greasy and are dangerous to landslides. I- LAKHAMANDAL TEMPLE-

This is a famous and religious place which is Surrounded by high hills , with the Holy Yamuna river flowing by, This holy and  ancient Lakhamandal temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This is place is approximately  Located around 30 km from Chakrata, the main attraction of the temple is the graphite (A kind of stone) Shiva lingam that shines when water is poured on it. People and tourist  form different place came here ,A very attractive tale says that Lakhamandal was the place where the Lakshagriha (In Ancient called house of lac)Which was establish by the Kauravas  to kill for their cousins, the story of Pandavas as recorded in the epic or religious Grantha called  Mahabharata . But Pandavas was informed by this plan of Kauravas so the Pandavas escaped through an underground tunnel(Form The LAKHAMANDAL TEMPLE) .

II- RAM TALL HORTICULTURE GARDEN- CHAKRATA TOWN

This beautiful Garden is situated About 12 km from Chakrata Town lies the spectacular which is called Ram Tall  Horticultural Garden. This green and charming glory, nestled amidst a green forest cover, different  species of birds and animal, including the turtle dove, and the grey treepie among others, this mak this garden an ideal living spot for birdwatching and animal lover. III- TIGER FALLS- CHAKRATA TOWN

One of the natural and beautiful place in Chakrata is the Tiger falls which is approximately 20 km from Chakrata is as charming as the short and easy trek for visitors  and Tourist have to undertake on a path lined with oak trees. Which is Also called Kailu Pachad, this beautiful waterfall is bounded by thick forests and provide natural beauty to tourist and visitors. This water of Tiger Falls cascades down a height of 310 ft and then water collects into a small pool which is used by tourist and visitors to take a bath in the water.
